iureka offers several ways to use the platform — from anonymous trial on the homepage to a Pro subscription for intensive research. The legal knowledge base (cases, statutes, parliamentary papers) is available in all modes; differences mainly concern storage, tools, credits, and models.

What are credits?

In platform mode, AI requests are billed via credits — depending on model and token usage (input/output). Different models have different rates. In BYOK mode, AI calls do not consume platform credits — billing goes directly through your provider.

Is iureka really free to use?

Yes — anonymously on the homepage and with a free account including a limited credit quota. For high volume there is a Pro subscription.

Do I need a subscription for vaults and explorer?

No — vaults and explorer are available after free registration. The subscription mainly increases credits and limits for intensive AI use.

What is the difference between credits and BYOK?

Credits are platform billing for AI models via iureka. BYOK means you use your own API keys — then no platform credits for those calls. Details: BYOK page.
