iureka offers several ways to use the platform — from anonymous trial on the homepage to a Pro subscription for intensive research. The legal knowledge base (cases, statutes, parliamentary papers) is available in all modes; differences mainly concern storage, tools, credits, and models.

Free registration
Free registration with significantly more than anonymous mode:
- Save research history and threads
- Vaults for matter documents
- Access to explorer, more tools and models (per credit quota)
- Optional BYOK — your own API keys instead of platform credits for AI calls
Pro subscription
For intensive use — law firms, in-house teams, and power users:
- Much higher monthly credit quota
- No daily limit (free tier has a daily cap)
- Access to premium models and higher concurrency
- Manage subscription under Settings → Account (Stripe)
What are credits?
In platform mode, AI requests are billed via credits — depending on model and token usage (input/output). Different models have different rates. In BYOK mode, AI calls do not consume platform credits — billing goes directly through your provider.
Which option fits?
- One-off trial → anonymous on the homepage
- Regular research, study, small firm → free registration
- High volume, premium models → Pro subscription
- Your own OpenAI/Anthropic contracts → registered + BYOK

Frequently asked questions
Is iureka really free to use?
Yes — anonymously on the homepage and with a free account including a limited credit quota. For high volume there is a Pro subscription.
Do I need a subscription for vaults and explorer?
No — vaults and explorer are available after free registration. The subscription mainly increases credits and limits for intensive AI use.
What is the difference between credits and BYOK?
Credits are platform billing for AI models via iureka. BYOK means you use your own API keys — then no platform credits for those calls. Details: BYOK page.
