BYOK applies to AI model calls (chat, agents, DOCX tools). The legal knowledge base — cases, statutes, Bundestag documents, explorer — continues through iureka regardless of BYOK mode.
Setup
- Register for free (BYOK requires an account — not available in anonymous mode)
- Settings → API keys — add your provider keys
- Enable BYOK mode — switchable between platform credits and BYOK

Does BYOK work in anonymous mode?
No — BYOK requires a registered account. Anonymous mode on the homepage does not support custom API keys.
Which providers are supported?
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others — depending on current integration in settings. Check the API keys UI after registration.
